Cookie Notice

Last updated: 6 October 2026

We use a few cookies the site needs in order to work, and analytics and advertising cookies only if you accept them. You can browse the whole Directory with the optional ones switched off.

Your choice

A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work. Others measure visits or help show adverts.

On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. Nothing in those two groups is set until you accept. You can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Necessary cookies do not need consent, because the site cannot do what you ask without them.

Intro videos

A teacher’s video loads only when you press play. Until then, YouTube and Vimeo receive nothing from your visit. Pressing play lets that provider set its own cookies.

Changing your mind

Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to switch analytics or advertising cookies on or off. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, although blocking the necessary ones will stop teacher sign-in from working.

Our Privacy Policy explains what Google, Meta and Reddit receive and where that data goes.
