1 About you

As students will see it on your listing.

Only we see this. We use it to reply to your application.

2 Your teaching certificate

A free Basic listing is open to every English teacher. Verified and Featured need a certificate from our accepted list, for a general TEFL or TESOL course of at least 120 hours.

Trained with eTEFL Online Teacher Training? Graduates have their own sign-up page. Please use the link we sent you instead of this form, or ask us for it.

The number or ID printed on the certificate. It helps us confirm it.

A scan or a clear photo. PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 8 MB. Only we see it. It is never shown on your listing.

Additional certificates optional

Specialist training, such as Business English, IELTS or Cambridge exam preparation. We look at each one, and those we accept are listed on your profile under "Additional training". Your main teaching certificate goes in the field above, not here. Up to 5 certificates: PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 8 MB each.

With Verified or Featured you can also add specialist certificates, such as Business English, IELTS or Cambridge exam preparation, to be listed on your profile. Choose your plan in step 4 and the fields appear here.

Your certificate is not on our accepted list at the moment. You can join now with a free Basic listing, and nothing will be charged. Tell us about your course below and we will look at it. If we add it to the list, we will write to invite you to get verified.

The course name, who ran it and, if you have it, a link to the provider.

3 Your listing

This is what students read before they book you.

A clear picture of your face works best. JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB.

Shown on your card in search results. Up to 160 characters.

Your experience, who you enjoy teaching and what a lesson with you is like. Write it in English, between 80 and 3,000 characters.

A short video of you speaking, on YouTube or Vimeo. Paste the link to it. Students like to hear you before they book. On YouTube the video can be Unlisted, but not Private.

For a one-hour lesson. The lowest rate on the directory is €10, and there is no upper limit.

How students can reach you

Each one you tick becomes a button on your profile. Choose at least one. You can change these at any time in your teacher account.

For example your Calendly or Cal.com page. The "Book a lesson" button on your profile opens it.

This needs its own calendar link. It has to be a different link from your "Book a lesson" link: a separate booking page that you set up as free in your calendar tool. With the same link, a student pressing "free trial" would arrive at your paid booking. Some calendar tools include only one booking page in their free plan.

Each message is emailed to the address you gave in step 1, and is also kept under "Enquiries" in your teacher account for 30 days, in case the email goes astray. You answer from your own email. Your address is never shown on your profile: a student sees it only when you reply.

4 Your plan

Have specialist certificates, such as Business English, IELTS or Cambridge exam preparation? You can add them in step 2.

Verified and Featured are for certificates on the accepted list, so your application will go ahead as a free Basic listing.

Paid plans are not open yet. You can start with a free listing now and upgrade later.
